The Riverview Lodge is located on New Zealand’s South Island just 5 miles outside of Hammer Springs in the heart of some of the best trout fishing on the South Island.  In the 25 years since Riverview Lodge was opened its name has become synonymous with superb fly fishing for trophy brown trout. Expert guides will put you onto fish that you would not have seen before you’d spooked them.  All of the guides at Riverview Lodge are expert professionals with many years of experience and an intimate knowledge of the rivers in the area and the behavior of the trout that inhabit them. The regular program includes fishing in waters accessible by road and then by foot, but should you like access to remote waters by helicopter can be arranged.

During the program guests are accommodated in spacious double rooms in single or double occupation at the beautiful Riverview Lodge. The lodge is located on a privileged site on a plateau with incredible views of the Hammer Springs Valley. Facilities include large lounge areas, a stone fireplace, a pool room, satellite television, laundry facilities, and free Wi Fi for your use.
