Gin clear waters where fish of up to 40 pounds will rise to take a bomber drifted on the surface is what makes Gaspe one of the world’s premier destinations for Atlantic salmon fishing. I will personally host this trip to one of Gaspe’s best lodges, Camp Bonaventure next September. We will have access to private waters on three of Canada’s most acclaimed Altantic salmon rivers: the legendary Bonaventure where sight fishing in crystal clear waters is the norm, the Grand Cascapedia where 40 pound salmon are not uncommon and the beautiful Petite Cascapedia ideal for fishing dry fly fishing. We will also have the option to complement these private waters with excellent public beats drawn in the annual lottery. In total we will have access to over 120 kilometers of prime salmon water. During these dates the autumn run will be in full gear and the river will aslo be full of spring and summer salmon that have entered earlier.

Our group will be accomodated at the beautiful Camp Bonaventure Lodge which has been described as one of the finest sporting lodges in North America. The main lodge provides the perfect place to relax after the day’s fishings featuring spacious and comfortably appointed living room and dining room with beautiful river-stone fireplaces. In the living room has a fully equipped fly-tying table at the disposal of guests. The large deck overlooking the river is just the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or night-cap underneath the stars while sharing fishing tales. .
